Showtime Dance has been sharing the JOY of Dance with Orange County children since 2001. Our mission is to provide top-quality, age-appropriate dance training in a positive, supportive environment. Showtime Dance Academy is a welcoming, inclusive studio where anyone can receive excellent dance training, in a positive, loving environment, regardless of age, race, religion, gender, size, or ability.
Dance is for Any Body!
Our curriculum surpasses California State Educational Standards, and our teachers are college educated with years of teaching experience. Along with safe, developmentally sound technique rooted in ballet tradition, we teach artistry and self-expression, dance history, biomechanics and anatomy as part of every class. We also teach the etiquette of a proper ballet class, with the respect for self, studio, instructor and peers that so often gets lost these days.
Each month comes with a new Creative Theme: Body Awareness and Movement Initiation; Spatial Awareness and Changing Level, Direction, or Pathway in Space; Use of Energy: Strong vs Light, and the 4 Basic Qualities of all Movement; and Creative Self-Expression and Emotional Intelligence. These themes are the building blocks of choreography, and educate the whole dancer, body and mind.
